Twins are always a little extra special to photograph, and these two sweet boys were no exception.

As first-time parents, Mom and Dad were soaking in every little moment with their new babies. They came into the studio with a fun vision for their session, wanting something a little different than the neutral look that has been popular lately. Instead, they chose a retro-inspired theme filled with bright reds, yellows, oranges, and fun pops of color. I absolutely loved putting everything together! It's always fun when parents bring a unique idea to the studio because every session ends up feeling completely different.

When we first started, both boys were wrapped up nice and cozy...and they were absolutely perfect. They slept so soundly that it almost felt too easy! Wrapped poses are often a favorite for newborns because they mimic the comfort and security they were used to before they were born.

Then came the unwrapped poses.

Let's just say the boys quickly let us know that being naked was not part of their plan for the day! They had plenty to say about it, and we all got a few laughs as we worked through each setup. One thing I've learned after photographing so many newborns is that babies don't always follow the plan, and honestly, that's okay. Sometimes the most memorable sessions are the ones where we simply follow their lead.

Even with a few opinions along the way, these brothers were so incredibly sweet. They loved being snuggled together, and getting to hold them between setups was one of my favorite parts of the session. There is just something so special about twin newborns. Watching them settle when they're close to each other is always a reminder of the bond they've already built.

I know Mom and Dad have such an exciting adventure ahead of them. Going from zero babies to two is quite the life change, but seeing the love they already have for these little boys made it easy to know they're going to be amazing parents.

Congratulations again on your beautiful family. Thank you for trusting me to capture these first memories together.
