At the beginning of the session, this little girl was a bit reserved. Not every one-year-old arrives ready to smile for the camera, and that's completely normal.

As soon as the cake was placed in front of her, her personality completely came to life. She absolutely loved exploring the frosting, digging into the cake, and showing off the sweetest smiles. Watching babies discover cake for the very first time is always one of my favorite parts of these sessions because every child reacts differently.
Her genuine joy made for some incredibly sweet photographs that her family will treasure for years.
A Soft Pink & White Boho Cake Smash Theme
For this session, we created a soft boho-inspired setup featuring delicate shades of pink and white. The neutral textures, subtle florals, and elegant details created a timeless backdrop that kept the focus exactly where it belonged: on the birthday girl.

After all the frosting fun, it was time for one of the highlights of every Platinum Cake Smash Session: the bath splash.
Warm water, bubbles, and a chance to play turned into the perfect ending. She couldn't stop smiling as she splashed around, making cleanup easy while creating another set of adorable portraits.
Bath splash photos are always a client favorite because they capture so much personality and are often where children become the most relaxed.
