Where Did the Easter Bunny Come From?



The Easter Bunny has a fun history of its own. The tradition is believed to have roots in Germany, where stories were told about a hare that brought colorful eggs to well-behaved children. German immigrants later brought the tradition to America in the 1700s, and it grew into the Easter Bunny we know and love today.

Some families leave baskets out for the Easter Bunny, while others spend the day hunting for eggs, enjoying candy, and making memories together.
