A Sweet Baby Boy's First Photo Session


Every newborn session is special, but every once in a while a baby comes into the studio who seems like they were simply made for newborn photos.


This sweet little guy came in for one of my Essence Newborn Sessions, which is a wrapped-only newborn experience designed for families who want beautiful professional portraits while staying within a budget. These sessions focus on your baby's tiny features, peaceful expressions, and cozy wrapped poses, creating timeless images you'll treasure for years to come.


From the moment we started, he settled in beautifully and made my job easy. He was calm, cozy, and looked adorable in every setup we created.

What Is an Essence Newborn Session?


Not every family is looking for a full newborn session, and that's exactly why I created my Essence Newborn Package.


These sessions are wrapped-only, meaning your baby stays comfortably swaddled throughout the session. Many newborns feel secure when wrapped, which often helps them relax and settle into gentle poses. Wrapped sessions also allow us to create a beautiful variety of images using different wraps, layers, colors, and props without the need for unwrapped poses.


It's a wonderful option for families who:

Adding Personal Touches


One of my favorite parts of newborn photography is incorporating sentimental items whenever possible.


For this session, Mom and Dad brought a beautiful personalized blanket with their son's name embroidered on it. We tucked it into one of my bucket setups, and I absolutely loved how everything came together.


Personal touches like a custom blanket, heirloom quilt, or meaningful keepsake help make each session unique. While I provide all of the wraps, props, baskets, and accessories needed for every newborn session, I always enjoy finding ways to include something that tells a little more of your family's story.
